Fads and Trends

The top biggest fads in my life right now are Google +, Rebecca Black, feather extensions, online dating, and also teen mom. The five biggest trends in my life right now are Facebook, country music, dying hair/real hair extensions, meeting someone out not online, and also reality television. Google plus has started and you had to be requested to be able to join, not many people are on the site to this day, unlike Facebook where the number of users is growing daily. Rebecca Black came out with one hit song “Friday”, while country has been around for years, and new singers are keeping the genre alive. Feather extension are a fad because they were the hot thing to have at the end of last year and beginning of this year, and they have slowly died out as time passes, while getting your hair colored has been around for ages. Online dating right now is a fad, but is more than likely going to turn into a trend, because it is taking a shift on how people view things, but old school style, meeting someone out in like a bar, or party will never die out. Teen mom is a fad, because once people get sick of seeing the same thing over and over again the ratings of the show will drop, and the show will stop airing. While Americans love reality television it will continue to grow as a trend.
